At Lucent Group, Inc., were committed to delivering real-time solutions to real-world problems, and it starts with people like you. Were looking for a focused, tech-savvy, and collaborative RTMC Operator to join our team at the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) in Tampa.

In this role, youll be at the center of Floridas intelligent transportation system, helping monitor traffic flow, respond to incidents, and support safe, efficient travel across our states highways.

What You'll Be Doing

As an RTMC Operator, youll :

Monitor traffic conditions using live CCTV, dynamic message signs, and smart software
Communicate with Road Rangers, law enforcement, and emergency response teams
Log and report incidents in real time
Help manage traffic flow and reduce congestion across Florida DOT District 7 roadways
Support public safety through technology-driven response coordination

Who You Are

Youre dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable using technology to make smart decisions quickly. You care about public safety and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent

6+ months of experience using Microsoft Office or similar computer software

Experience with dispatch, surveillance systems, or customer service is a plus

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and follow detailed procedures

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Willingness to work a consistent 2 : 00 PM 10 : 00 PM shift, including weekends or holidays if needed

Successful completion of a 4-week paid training program (MonFri, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM)

Ability to pass a State Law Enforcement Background Check and Drug Screen
