General Job Responsibilities

Expertise in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests.

Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams.

Minimum Education Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.

Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Fellowship training in Hem / Onc.

License & Certifications

Board certification in hematology and / or oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).

Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.

Experience

While specific requirements may vary, most locum Hem / Onc positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting.
