Service Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our Service and Customer Repair Division. This leadership role involves ensuring exceptional service delivery, efficient scheduling, and seamless coordination between departments. As a Service Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Service and Customer Repair Division, managing all aspects of client service and equipment repair.
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and resolve any issues.
  • Create and manage schedules for service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as a liaison between the rental and equipment departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Supervise repairs, including new parts installations and routine maintenance such as oil changes.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Manager to assist with inventory management and purchasing.
  • Supervise a team of 8-10 employees, providing leadership, training, and support.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in service management, preferably in construction equipment or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory, and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with construction equipment and tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in service troubleshooting, field service, mechanical, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, purchase orders, and parts management.

    This is a Permanent position based out of South Windsor, Connecticut.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00 / yr.
