Job Summary and Qualifications :

As a Float Pool Nurse, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in compliance with departmental protocols and standards. You will collaborate closely with medical teams to provide comprehensive and compassionate care, acting as an advocate for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout each shift, reporting any changes promptly.

Perform medical procedures and administrative tasks as directed, ensuring accurate documentation and medication management.

Provide exceptional responsiveness to patient requests and proactively meet their needs.

Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

Qualifications :

Active RN licensure in relevant state or compact state.

Associates Degree in Nursing required.

ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.

BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment.

PALS certification required within 6 months of employment.
