job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEquipment Working knowledge of equipment and materials used by the various trades, e.g., pick, shovel, sledge hammer, and a variety of garden / yard tools. (Required) Ability to work as part of a team through close collaboration with colleagues. (Required) Skill in reading standard English text in order to follow through on written orders and carry out assignments. (Required) Communication and writing skills to obtain or convey clear, concise and grammatically correct information. (Required) Working knowledge of the standard trade-related safety practices and methods. (Required) Ability to work overtime and weekends. (Required) Ability to skillfully operate a forklift and pallet jack in order to transport materials and equipment from loading sites to destination. (Preferred) Must possess California Driver's License, Class 3, and ability to drive a University truck or other light vehicle in the course of duties. 100 (Required) Background Check : Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation. Pre-Placement Physical : Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory physical examination. Driving Record : The position is subject to the California DMV "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.

Salary & Compensation

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common.
