Description :
Position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care to newborns requiring specialized medical attention.
Ratios may vary, typically 1 : 2 but can be 1 : 3 depending on patient acuity.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.
Weekend shifts are required, with a preference for 3 out of 4 if needed by the unit.
The nurse will not be required to float outside of women's services, and that circumstance would be rare.
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but efforts will be made to accommodate requests.
Candidates must hold current BLS and NRP certifications.
No pending licenses will be accepted for this position.
All requests for time off must be kept to a minimum during the assignment.
Submissions must include active licensing documentation.
Compliance documentation must meet specified deadlines.
Expectation to work some holidays is required.
