Now Hiring : Assistant Operator - Foam Extrusion

Location : Plymouth, IN

Schedule : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM | Rotating Weekends

Are you mechanically inclined and ready to grow your career in manufacturing? Join our team as an Assistant Operator in our Foam Extrusion department, where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality products in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Operator, you'll support the Operator in running the production line efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include :

• Assisting with machine setup and operation to meet production goals and quality standards
• Performing quality checks (length / width, vacuum tests, micrometer readings)
• Operating forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles to stage materials
• Setting slitters and perforations to spec
• Supporting minor maintenance tasks and TPM / PM activities
• Helping with packaging, labeling, and scrap management
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicating effectively during shift transitions
• Assisting with troubleshooting and cross-functional tasks as needed
