Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address questions and / or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any hazards, maintenance needs, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
