​ BrightKey is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate  to grow their team in Annapolis Junction, MD.  The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety and productivity.  If you are interested in a place where you can grow and make a difference, BrightKey is a great place for you! ​ The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the warehouse.

This role involves pick / pack operations, palletizing goods for shipment, operating various warehouse equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key Information :

  • Pay : $19.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefits include : Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Pet Insurance Participation in 401k Paid Holidays and Time-Off Hours : First shift Days : Monday through Friday Location : Annapolis Junction, MD (on-site) Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Associate : Pick / Pack Operations : Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
  • Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Label packages with shipping information and ensure proper documentation.

Palletizing Goods :

  • Organize and stack products on pallets for shipment.
  • Ensure pallets are stable, secure, and meet shipping standards.

    • Equipment Operation :

  • Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
  • Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.

    • Inventory Management :

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
  • Assist in managing stock levels and reordering supplies as needed.

    • General Warehouse Duties :

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

    • Qualifications for the Warehouse Associate Role :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.  Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [specific weight]).
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.

    • Offer of employment subject to drug and background screening.  Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks that require repetitive motions.
  • Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
