About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Active Nursing License

Certifications : BLS, NRP required

Must-Have :

• Level 2 nursery experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Description : Locals accepted.

LDRP and Nursery experience required.

Diagnosis include labor and delivery, antepartum and gynecological patients, gestational hypertension, diabetes, and multi-birth.

BCLS and NRP certifications are required.

Unit procedures include circumcisions, hearing screens, newborn screens, general admissions, and C-sections and inductions of labor.

Charge experience preferred.

Patient ratios are 1-3.

Candidates are required to work one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift on every four-week schedule.

Scheduling adjusts based on census.

Current average deliveries per month are 140, with an expected increase to the 160s over the next several months.

In-house provider support is available part-time, with on-call cover for remaining hours.

Staffing per shift includes one charge nurse and 6-7 bedside nurses, with adjustments made as necessary.

There are no call requirements.

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams.

Special equipment includes incubators, warmer units, labor beds, and fetal monitors.

Candidates must have the ability to perform various clinical skills including circumcision care, breastfeeding support, triage of obstetrical patients, and more.
