Job Description
American Traveler seeks a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of clinical experience and a valid state license for a clinic-based role.
Responsibilities
Work in a pediatric outpatient clinic settingSpecialize in cases such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and basic speech disordersNo feeding therapy requiredAverage of 8-10 patients per 8-hour day or 10-12 patients per 10-hour daySchedule is four 10-hour shifts, 8am–7pm Monday through Thursday, with two days required until 7pmNo weekend or on-call requirementsOccasional floating to other clinics may be possible but is not typicalUses RainTree EMR for charting; all documentation must be completed onsiteJoin a collaborative, patient-centered team culture with strong support from Clinical Competency SpecialistsFirst-time travelers are welcome for this positionDress code includes green or grey scrubs (Baylor College Green), business casual is also acceptable, and tennis shoes are permittedActive participation in clinic activities and team engagement is highly valuedLocal candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radiusRequirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent state SLP license required if applicable and must be valid at time of considerationMinimum 2 years of overall clinical experience, including at least 1 year in pediatric settingsValid ACLS certificationNo disciplinary actions on licenseAbility to work onsite and complete all charting in clinicBenefits
