Job Description

American Traveler seeks a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of clinical experience and a valid state license for a clinic-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a pediatric outpatient clinic setting
  • Specialize in cases such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and basic speech disorders
  • No feeding therapy required
  • Average of 8-10 patients per 8-hour day or 10-12 patients per 10-hour day
  • Schedule is four 10-hour shifts, 8am–7pm Monday through Thursday, with two days required until 7pm
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Occasional floating to other clinics may be possible but is not typical
  • Uses RainTree EMR for charting; all documentation must be completed onsite
  • Join a collaborative, patient-centered team culture with strong support from Clinical Competency Specialists
  • First-time travelers are welcome for this position
  • Dress code includes green or grey scrubs (Baylor College Green), business casual is also acceptable, and tennis shoes are permitted
  • Active participation in clinic activities and team engagement is highly valued
  • Local candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radius
  • Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state SLP license required if applicable and must be valid at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of overall clinical experience, including at least 1 year in pediatric settings
  • Valid ACLS certification
  • No disciplinary actions on license
  • Ability to work onsite and complete all charting in clinic
