Industrial Automation Powertrain and Robotic application experience preferred. Math literacy : Project Engineers will be working with Project Managers on cost management, budgeting, and project statistics, so they must be very comfortable with math. Required to have driving license, with clean driving record. (3) years Mechanical (preferred) or Controls engineering experience. Strong work ethic (50-hour weeks) Intermittent travel to Customer sites (local and international) Ability to work with Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers, and technicians during all project phases.
Job Description
Take responsibility of assignments from the Project Management Functional Head or assigned Project Manager through the various phases of design, manufacturing, build / integration, and installation / commissioning milestones. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing project tasks and assignments promptly in support of project milestones and goals.
Responsibilities :
- Aid a Project Manager in the identification and documentation of issues, in process or design, on a project.
- Aid Project Managers in developing project reporting to the Customer and Executive Management.
- Take on responsibility of certain aspects of a project to assist the Project Team.
- Check and understand mechanical drawings and recognize sound mechanical design.
- Assist with the documenting open issues and minutes of meetings (MOMs)
- Provide inputs into periodic customer & corporate reports.
- Assist in Debug, Run-off, Installation, training, and startup activities at Wipro-Pari and Customer sites.
