Overview

Join our dynamic team in Wayland, MI, as a CNC Machinist! We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision machining and thrives in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet our stringent standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality output.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
