Must have two to three years' experience in LTC and CT Licensed RN
shifts are weekends 7A to 7P - Must be able to work either every weekend or every other weekend. Shift open also is Monday through Friday 7-3 with on call rotation every 3 weeks.
Responsible for planning, coordination, and direction of all nursing staff on all shifts on her assigned units, as well as, ongoing general evaluation of staff performance and activities, in order to achieve optional resident patient care.
Ensures new admissions, discharges and transfers are entered into Electronic Medical Record as soon as it occurred.
Daily monitoring of electronic medical dashboard (including alerts, incomplete UDAs, immunization entries).
Conducts rounds of all residents.
Completes MDS as required for all new admissions.
Reviews each resident / patient accident / incident reports; initiates investigations of injury of unknown origin.
Submits accident / incidents report and completed applicable investigation reports to the ADNS within 48hrs of occurrence.
Other duties as assigned.
