We’re partnering with a leading homebuilder to identify a Senior Financial Analyst who will play a key role in driving financial insights and strategic decisions for their division. This individual will work closely with leadership across operations, land acquisition, construction, sales, and purchasing to provide meaningful analysis and recommendations that impact profitability and performance.

The ideal candidate is looking to exit Big 4 public accounting and transition into FP&A.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

Partner with the Division President and department heads to deliver financial reporting and strategic insights.

Support preparation of the division’s annual budget, three-year plan, and ongoing forecast updates.

Develop and maintain financial models, proformas, and sensitivity analyses for potential land acquisitions.

Track and analyze key performance indicators such as margins, production timelines, and cash flow forecasts.

Evaluate competitive pricing and product features; recommend adjustments to optimize community performance.

Participate in month-end close activities and ensure accurate reporting to corporate FP&A.

Maintain compliance with internal controls and assist with SOX-related requirements.

Provide ad-hoc analysis to support division and corporate initiatives.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.

Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas); experience with Hyperion, Essbase, or JDE is a plus.
