Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama (35401) Healthcare Setting : Renal Unit (36-bed) Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 22, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holidays as required Parking : Available Scrub Color : Solid Navy Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,720 - $1,840 Registered Nurse Qualifications Associate degree in nursing required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses accepted) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Red Cross certification Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med / Surg Telemetry or renal nursing specialty Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with acute or chronic kidney disease, including those requiring renal replacement therapy Specialize in post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patient care Maintain a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal clinical support Collaborate with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to achieve the best patient outcomes Support patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery in the renal unit Float to other hospital units and facilities as required Comply with facility protocols and dress code Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Tuscaloosa, Alabama!
