Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare role is available in Mooresville, NC, seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in radiology imaging and X-ray technology. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment in a respected medical setting, supporting adult and pediatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, observation, and emergency settings. The schedule consists of 10-hour day shifts, typically from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM, with no current weekend rotation or on-call requirements, though occasional holiday coverage is preferred during assignments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience preferred
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
  • Experience with fluoroscopy, OR imaging (C-arm & O-arm), portable X-rays, and emergency department rotations
  • Comfortable working independently and under supervisory guidance
  • Ability to rotate through multiple imaging areas including ED, OR, and portable settings

Responsibilities

  • Provide imaging services for adult and pediatric patients in various clinical settings including the emergency department, operating room, and inpatient areas
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment and utilize EPIC electronic medical records
  • Participate in a thorough orientation and departmental training for new equipment
  • Adhere to departmental protocols including scrub color policy and parking policies
