Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Repair and replace defective parts and components as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
  • Technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
