Responsibilities Work in a Med / Surg and Telemetry float pool without a home unit Float assignments cover any facility within a 60-mile radius of the float zone city center Patient population includes Med / Surg and Telemetry cases 12-hour night shifts with a schedule of 3 shifts per week Must adapt to varied assignments at multiple facilities within the designated zone Uses EPIC EMR system and EPIC experience is preferred Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans collaboratively Provide education and support to patients and families based on individual needs Must demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collection Flu vaccination is required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31) unless a medical exemption is provided No local candidates are eligible for travel positions within a 60-mile radius Participate in quality improvement activities and foster teamwork within inter-professional teams Applicants are required to sign a float agreement acknowledging floating expectations Requirements Active CO or compact state RN license required at time of consideration Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Minimum of one year recent RN experience preferred American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Ability to float to any assignment within a 60-mile radius Only AHA certifications are accepted No pending licenses accepted, must be active at the time of consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615247.
