Senior Electrical Engineer

Selectek is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical design for industrial projects to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and diverse projects involving power distribution, instrumentation and control systems, and more.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support the electrical design of industrial facilities and process systems.
  • Design and specify electrical power distribution systems, motor controls, and grounding systems.
  • Develop instrumentation and control system designs, including control strategies for both process and building systems.
  • Prepare specifications and construction documents for lighting, communication, and security systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BS required).
  • PE license preferred, or EIT with the ability to obtain PE licensure within 12 years.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design for industrial projects.
  • Proven experience with electrical power distribution, instrumentation and control systems, and low-voltage systems (lighting, comms, security).
  • Strong understanding of controls strategies for both process and building systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Pay Rate : $100,000 - $120,000+ (depending on education and experience)
