$50.00 / hr - $55.00 / hr

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain security platforms and related software such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, antivirus solutions, vulnerability scanners , and security groups.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to detect, investigate, and respond to advanced security threats.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Azure Security Center and Microsoft Cloud App Security for cloud visibility and protection.
  • Utilize Microsoft Security Compliance Manager Security Graph API , and PowerShell scripting to automate and enforce security compliance.
  • Configure and maintain firewall policies, VPNs (IPSEC), NAT / PAT, and HA configurations using Palo Alto and Zscaler
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to security policies, routing, and firewall operations
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure timely remediation of identified risks.
  • Support ITSM processes including incident response, change management, and ticket resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance the organization's overall security posture.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and participate in change management and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems , Computer Science, or related field (or 5+ years equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Security Operations, Network Security, or Infrastructure Security roles.
  • Hands-on experience with :
  • Zscaler Internet Access / ZPA
  • Microsoft Defender ATP, Azure Security Center, Cloud App Security
  • Ansible, PowerShell, or Python for automation
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure security components is preferred.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
  • Working knowledge of ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, VPN configuration, NAT / PAT, and HA setup
  • Experience performing vulnerability assessments, event correlation, and incident analysis
  • Certifications such as Zscaler Digital Experience (ZD), Cyber Associate, or Digital Experience Admin are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
