The Role
Based in Redwood City, CA and reporting to the Principal of Rocketship Redwood City Prep, the Manager of Language & Literacy will directly oversee and drive academic achievement for students and build a rigorous college preparatory environment. They will be a member of the school leadership team and instructional leadership team, and will work closely with their principal to lead and implement the instructional vision for one to three grade levels. The Manager of Language & Literacy will manage, coach, & lead teachers, ensuring t hat all learners, including multilingual learners , thrive academically, linguistically, and socially. This leader will champion research-based practices in behavior management, literacy and language development, while ensuring alignment with Rocketships mission to close the achievement gap. This position is contingent on term-limited supplemental funding and will be reassessed annually
