CT Technologist (Eve Shift)

Location : Gainesville, FL, 32601

Shift : Evenings : 11 : 00 AM 11 : 00 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Job Type : Permanent

Guaranteed Hours : (36 hours / week)

Compensation : (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Gainesville, FL. The successful candidate will perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
Operate CT equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnosis and treatment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with imaging technology and techniques.

Qualifications :

One year of CT experience REQUIRED. Acute care experience is NOT necessary.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred.

Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.

Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School.
