About The Position

Job Summary :

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Polysomnographic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading medical facility in Santa Rosa, CA. This role supports both pediatric and adult patient populations and requires expertise in sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in conducting comprehensive sleep studies, comfortable working independently during night shifts, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform overnight polysomnographic procedures for pediatric and adult patients

Operate and manage sleep diagnostic equipment, including Alice 6 G3 and ResMed CPAP devices

Document and monitor data using the EPIC charting system

Adhere to AASM standards and facility-specific protocols

Float between similar units when needed

Maintain clear communication with clinical teams regarding patient care

Participate in weekend rotations and handle occasional call-backs

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a sleep lab setting

Proficient with pediatric and adult sleep studies (ratios : 1 : 1 for pediatrics, 1 : 2 for adults)

Strong charting skills in EPIC

Comfortable floating between like units

All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application

First-time travelers are welcome

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program

Active California State License – Required (no pending licenses)

RPSGT or RRT with SDS credential – Required

BLS certification – Required

Experience with Alice 6 G3 and ResMed CPAP systems
