Automotive Business Consultant at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company

Reynolds and Reynolds is looking for experienced automotive professionals to join our consulting team. Our superior software solutions, our award-winning sales, service, and support have made us one of the most recognized and respected companies in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Establish professional relationships with customers and help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable.
  • Work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas within the dealership and use established consulting services programs, as well as industry knowledge, to help solve these issues.
  • Follow up with customers after a project to maintain relationships and provide ongoing fee-for-service support and problem resolution.
  • Help customers become successful in different areas of the dealership to build trust and drive consulting services sales.
  • Assist automotive dealerships across the country by applying automotive skills to make a difference.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of automotive dealership experience (sales associate / representative, service advisor, parts counter, controller / office manager (automotive accounting), marketing associate).
  • Dealership management experience is a plus (sales manager, internet sales manager, business development manager, F&I manager, marketing manager, marketing director, parts manager, service manager, fixed operations manager).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively overnight (up to 5 nights per week).
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI / DUI / DWI violations in the last five years.
  • Must have reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
