What You'll Do :

  • Promote safety by leading by example, participating in safety engagements, and encouraging the team to work safe each day and to follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Cultivate a culture focused on continuous improvement in safety performance.
  • Lead by personal example with a positive attitude, setting the standards for the team.
  • Assist with the resolution of process and equipment problems.
  • Supervise successful start-up and implementation of new or modified equipment.
  • Assist with running plant trials and in the development of new products and processes.
  • Process optimization in methods and workflow improvement.
  • Participate and lead various plant improvement teams.
  • Responsible for customer complaint resolution.
  • Provide training, as needed, to production teams to ensure safe and efficient operation.

We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Previous experience that provides the qualifications to perform the job.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of extrusion coating, silicone coating, printing and slitting process preferred.
  • Lean and / or Six Sigma experience or other structured problem solving is desired.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks / priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment, including ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toed shoes.
