The Electrical and Instrumentation Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, building, and installing electrical systems that power, monitor, and control fluid process systems across various industries.

What You Get To Do

• Reads electrical drawings.
• Installs conduit, power, and control wiring.
• Troubleshoots electrical control panels with power feeds up to 600VAC.
• Builds electrical control panels with power feeds up to 600VAC.
• Configures and calibrates instrumentation.
• Configures, installs and troubleshoots Variable Frequency Drives.
• Configures tunes and operates PID controllers.
• Loads, troubleshoots, and tests PLC and HMI programs.
• Works with Ethernet communication networks.
• Works collaboratively with Account Managers, Application Engineers, and other internal staff.
• Understands and ensures compliance with NEC regulations and UL quality standards.
• Works with customers in the field, requiring approximately 10% overnight travel time and ability to travel via air.
• Troubleshoots equipment and system problems utilizing basic test equipment.
• Assists customers during new equipment start-ups.
• Accurately prepares required customer and Crane documentation.
• Periodically assists with building and grounds maintenance and annual inventory.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
