Nevada Data Modernization Advisor

A company is looking for a Data Modernization Senior Advisor to guide public health agencies in improving the use of public health data.

Key Responsibilities

Align with agency leadership to identify information needs and implement systems improvements

Develop and lead the implementation of the Data Modernization Plan and multi-year roadmap

Provide technical advisement on health information systems, data exchange, and data governance efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in public health, computer information systems, health informatics, epidemiology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in epidemiology, informatics, or information systems development related to public health

Understanding of information systems development, data life cycles, and public health data use

Strong project management skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders

Familiarity with data exchange efforts within public health
