Leasing Consultants help prospective residents find and lease apartments by showing units, explaining terms, and guiding them through the application process while providing excellent customer service.

Leasing Consultants also support the Management office by assisting in a number of administrative tasks.
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who has previous sales experience / retail sales experience as well as multi-family experience and who can offer thorough service to our renters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Presenting apartments and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenantsThe ability to build rapport with current and prospective tenants while providing personalized servicePreparing and executing lease agreements and addendums in accordance with property standards and regulationsMaintaining apartment availability and unit status recordsMonitoring use of community facilities including laundry, mail, guest cards, and fitness centerPartnering with the Maintenance team to ensure the property is maintained effectivelyScreening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirementsOverseeing and coordinating the orientation of new tenantsAssisting with office and clerical tasks, including answering the phones in a professional and courteous mannerFollowing up on service requests as neededAccepting rent payments, security deposits, and other applicable feesMaintaining and storing documentation securely and effectivelyInspecting properties when tenants take occupancy and when they vacateLiaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concernsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamQualifications include, but are not limited to :
Associates degree preferred although a high school diploma or GED with verifiable Leasing Coordinator experience will also be consideredA minimum of two (2) years' experience in leasing, hospitality, or administrative workExperience with Yardi and CRMExcellent problem solving and communication skillsAbility to multitask during busy periods
