Summary

As a Staff Data Engineer , you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the core data platform that powers insights across Vivint. You'll partner with business teams and analytics professionals to ensure that data at Vivint is accurate, reliable, timely, and accessible to thousands of users across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and ETL / ELT pipelines supporting enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Develop and optimize the data platform (Snowflake) to support thousands of users and diverse business use cases.
• Implement best practices for data architecture, governance, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance data workflows for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure high standards for data quality, security, and operational excellence.
