Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a reliable, motivated professional who takes pride in their work, values patient relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will support our dentists in delivering outstanding care, help educate patients, and ensure each visit is smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and addressing concerns.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following OSHA and infection control protocols.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized treatment area and operatory.
• Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
• Record detailed patient notes, charting, and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix (or applicable dental software).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Assist with patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and case presentation when needed.
• Support the front desk with occasional tasks including checking patients in / out and insurance verification.
• Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction and recovery after procedures.
• Stay updated on best practices, technologies, and continuing education requirements.
