A company is looking for a Staff Accountant responsible for managing daily accounting tasks for multiple complex clients, primarily nonprofits in the charter school industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage cash maintenance, including reviewing bank reconciliations and inter-company transactions
Perform month-end closing procedures and prepare financial statements
Complete grant compliance reports and assist with client interactions and onboarding
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
At least 2 years of experience preparing financial statements
Non-profit experience is a plus
CPA license or CPA-eligibility is a plus
Knowledge of financial and accounting record-keeping methods and practices
