About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving process improvements across our operations. This individual will focus on enhancing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development—the five pillars of our success. The role requires a blend of analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

This position bridges engineering, production, and management—working hand-in-hand with leadership, shop-floor employees, and supply chain partners to streamline processes and strengthen efficiency throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Conduct workflow analysis of disassembly, machining, assembly, and testing processes to reduce bottlenecks and waste.
  • Implement Lean / 5S / Kaizen practices—standardizing workstations, reducing setup times, and improving tool / part flow.
  • Develop and track KPIs (throughput, rework rates, downtime, labor efficiency) through data dashboards.
  • Support capacity planning, inventory control, and supply chain optimization to align production flow with demand.
  • Strengthen quality checkpoints and redesign workstations for safety, ergonomics, and compliance.
  • Coach employees in Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Quality Assurance principles.
  • Partner with leadership to assess critical business needs and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • What You Bring

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering).
  • Experience : 1–2 years in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing; shop-floor exposure strongly preferred.
  • Lean & Six Sigma : Working knowledge required; Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.
  • Technical Tools : Advanced Excel skills, ERP / MRP familiarity, basic CAD / layout modeling.
  • Industry Knowledge : Background in diesel engine remanufacturing, machining, assembly, or heavy equipment manufacturing preferred.
  • Safety & Quality : Strong understanding of OSHA, ergonomics, and risk-reduction practices.
  • We welcome candidates with more or less experience than listed. Placement and pay will be based on your skills, experience, and the final job level offered.

    Who You Are

  • Analytical Problem-Solver : You use data to diagnose inefficiencies and propose practical solutions.
  • Clear Communicator : You can explain technical findings to shop-floor employees and leadership alike.
  • Change Agent : You introduce new processes with confidence and gain team buy-in.
  • Hands-On Leader : You don't just sit behind a desk—you walk the floor, observe, and engage.
  • Continuous Improver : You're never satisfied with "the way we've always done it."
  • Non-Negotiables

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Hands-on manufacturing exposure (time studies, process flow analysis, bottleneck elimination).
  • Advanced Excel / data analysis and ERP / MRP system comfort.
  • Proven commitment to safety, ergonomics, and quality improvement.
  • Willingness to work closely with machinists, technicians, and leadership.
  • Take the Next Step

If you're ready to bring your expertise to a company that values safety, innovation, and continuous improvement, we'd love to meet you.
