Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Position Type : Travel / Contract Radiologic Technologist

Healthcare Setting : Hospital Cath Lab

Location : Mountain Home, Arkansas

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (06 : 30 - 17 : 00), rotating day off, call required

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2380 - $2550 per week

Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics

Unit Details : Cardiac, IR, Vascular, and Structural procedures; daily census of 10; 3 procedure rooms

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Radiologic Technologists

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, including Cardiac, ECG interpretation, or special procedures

Current ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)

Arkansas Department of Health Radiology License

Current BLS certification

Ability to respond and arrive in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes when on call

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions allowed)

Travel healthcare experience preferred

Cerner charting experience preferred

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality radiologic and CT imaging services in the Cath Lab, including cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures

Interpret ECGs and assist with specialized procedures

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Maintain safety standards and respond promptly in emergency situations

Lift and transport patients and equipment as needed (up to 125 pounds with assistance)

Work assigned shifts and provide on-call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays

Demonstrate composure and efficiency in critical and high-stress healthcare environments
