Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech and media location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed while representing Allied Universal on site.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings in a technology-focused environment, adapting to changing site conditions and requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
