We're seeking an experienced Greenhouse Manager to oversee all aspects of greenhouse operations, from plant health and inventory management to budget performance. Salary Range : $65,000-$70,000 + variable compensation based on achieved goal objectives

About Us : Colonial Gardens, located in Blue Springs, MO, was added to our brand family in 2016. Founded in 1969, renovations began in 2017 to create an agritourism destination. It is the garden center, reimagined! We offer a greenhouse, nursery, caf and coffee shop, event space, and farmer's market. It's where plants, food and farms connect. Educational classes promoting local agriculture and sustainability as well as private events are also offered.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership : Lead, manage, and hold accountable the site team to ensure the successful execution of operational plans and goals. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Budget / P&L : Accountable for the department's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance by managing the budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Greenhouse Management : Oversee all facets of greenhouse operations, including monitoring plant health, facility maintenance, and key performance metrics.
• Inventory Management : Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, forecast needs, and optimize product availability to minimize waste.
• Safe Workplace : Promote and maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff training on safety protocols.
