What to Expect
A successful Industrial Engineer will use data driven process improvement experience to quantitatively assess current business system performance and execute change to reduce cost, optimize throughput, and develop standards. This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize business needs among multiple stakeholders while focusing on issue resolution and inter-departmental engagement.
What You'll Do
- Identify and leverage existing data; develop standards and definitions for data where needed
- Provide layout design analysis and modeling for new brownfield sites, built-to-suit suites, and current site operations
- Create and maintain Value Stream Maps and cycle line layouts
- Modify, create, and implement standards utilizing change management methods
- Manage and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions throughout the Service organization
- Identify, quantify, compare, and execute process improvements to drive safety, ergonomics, repair quality, performance, capital utilization, demand attainment, warehousing, and logistics strategies
- Work cross functionally to develop and implement best practices
- Use predetermined time standard methods to analyze and optimize current and future planned processes
- Create and implement tools to audit efficiency and identify opportunities
- Define and manage operational metrics for current and future systems
