This position plays a critical role in helping us deliver quality residential construction projects by accurately forecasting costs, preparing bids, and coordinating with our sales and project teams. Key Responsibilities-

Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.-

Collaborate with sales, project management, and trade partners to ensure all project scopes are fully captured.-

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, materials pricing, and labor requirements.-

Prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals.-

Update estimating databases and cost histories for future accuracy.-

Assist in project handoff meetings to support smooth transitions to field teams.-

Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.-

Perform quantity takeoffs and ensure all estimating tasks align with project goals and timelines.-

Represent American Central Corp professionally with trade partners, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications-

3+ years of estimating experience in residential construction or related fields.-

Proficient in reading blueprints, specs, and construction documents.-

Familiarity with estimating software (, Buildertrend, PlanSwift, or similar).-

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.-

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.-

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines.-

High school diploma or GED required; construction-related degree preferred.-

Valid driver's license and ability to attend site visits or meetings as needed.
