Assistant / Associate Health Sciences Clinical / Clinical X Professor / Physical Therapist : Pediatric

The UCSF Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is seeking full-time member in the Health Sciences Clinical and Clinical X Professor series (at the rank of Assistant / Associate) to provide Physical Therapy services at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Stad Center for Pediatric Pain, Palliative and Integrated Medicine at Mission Bay, with expertise and documented excellence in evidence-based pediatric practice preferred. The applicant will also support our UCSF / SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy.

The Stad Center for Pediatric Pain, Palliative, and Integrative Medicine utilizes a wide range of approaches-from cutting-edge medical treatments to time-honored healing practices-to alleviate pain, anxiety, nausea, and other symptoms while promoting overall well-being and recovery. The applicants for this position are expected to :

• Practice evidence based, high quality care
• Teach students in the clinical setting
• Represent our department within UCSF and the surrounding communities
• Maintain an active dialogue with UCSF referring providers and within the UCSF Health community

Applicants must meet all of the requirements by the time of hire. Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission. The candidates may be asked to participate in teaching in DPT, Residency and / or PhD programming, and will instruct students in the Faculty Practice environments. This position initially is comprised of 95% patient care and 5% teaching. The faculty member is expected to participate in university governance, faculty meetings, departmental administrative meetings, quality assurance programs and continuing education.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $183,500. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
