About the role - Yardperson (Poultney, VT)

We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Yardperson  within our Orica USA Commercial team.

The Yardperson plays a key role in supporting efficient operations in the magazine area, including the dispatch and receipt of finished products, such as boosters, caps, detonators, primer cords, tubing, and raw materials. This position ensures compliance with the National Code for the Transport of Explosives by road, as well as Orica’s Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.

In addition, the Yardperson will provide support to blast crews and assist with on-bench operations, contributing to the safe and effective execution at customer locations.

Work schedule

• Monday thru Friday
• Start times vary per business needs
• 8-10 hours per day
• Overtime may be needed
