Quality Assurance Technician

Reports to :

  • ? Quality Assurance Manager

Description

The Quality Assurance Technician inspects products at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Their duties include performing visual inspections, recording quality issues and planning processes to decrease the instance of defects in products.

Job Responsibilities :

  • ? Evaluates products and identifies defects according to company specifications and standards
  • ? Performs pressure testing on all bed hydraulic lines
  • ? Inspects paint quality and flags for rework when necessary
  • ? Fills out quality inspection documents where required
  • ? Fills out pacing boards and identifies flow interrupters
  • ? Improves current standards by working with internal customers
  • ? Keeps a clean workplace using 5S and lean methodologies
  • ? Perform other duties as assigned

  • ? Successful completion of pre-hire background check, drug screening, and physical.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • ? Previous QA experience in a manufacturing setting
  • ? Experience working with a CMM machine
  • ? In-depth knowledge of our manufacturing process and product
  • ? Basic understanding of 5S and Lean methodologies

    • Physical Requirements

  • ? Ability to stand for hours at a time and lift 50+ lbs.
  • ? Ability to engage in frequent standing, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, as well as the pushing and pulling of parts

    • Schedule / Salary

  • ? M-F, 40-hour work week, 1st Shift
  • ? Overtime with pre-approval by manager
