Top Tier Reps is representing a nationally recognized labor and employment law firm that exclusively represents management-side clients.

The firm is currently seeking an experienced Special Counsel to join its Virtual Office .

This opportunity offers the ability to maintain a high-level litigation practice while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

About the Role This is a primarily remote position focused on handling employment litigation and administrative matters for a wide range of clients, including those with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) .

You'll lead litigation strategy, manage client communications, and oversee a team of attorneys and support staff.

This role is ideal for an experienced employment litigator who wants a meaningful practice without the pressure of business development or non-billable hour requirements.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation and administrative agency matters Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, motions, and client communications Conduct and defend depositions Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff Collaborate with partners and firm leadership on case strategy and execution Occasionally support class actions, PAGA claims, or other complex matters Required Qualifications JD from an ABA-accredited law school Minimum 7+ years of experience in employment law and litigation Active bar membership (in good standing) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting Preferred Qualifications Prior experience at a law firm Experience handling EPLI matters Admission to the California bar is a plus Compensation & Benefits Base salary range :
