Radiologic Technologist Position Details

RTO Request Limit : 3 Days

Epic Experience : Required

Certifications Not In-Hand : Candidate must indicate willingness to obtain in the application packet

Non-Billable Hours : 24 hours

Schedule

Monday, Thursday, Friday : 9 : 00 AM – 9 : 30 PM

Breaks : 90 minutes

Certifications & Education Required

Certifications : ARRT Radiography

ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)

BLS or BLS-I

Education : Certificate in Radiologic Technology

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology required

Less than 1 year of CT experience preferred

Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required due to frequent interaction with physicians, patients, visitors, departmental staff, and nursing staff.

Ability to obtain, present, and discuss clinical information related to job duties regularly.

Must be able to provide clear instructions and directions to maintain goodwill and cooperation among all contacts.

Ability to work independently and under pressure while contributing effectively as a team member.

Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills at all times.

Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, stressful environment with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, coworkers, volunteers, and physicians.

Compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards is mandatory.

Competent in all CT procedures, including patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation safety, and quality control testing per ACR and manufacturer recommendations.

Solid understanding of anatomy and pathology as it relates to image quality and procedure performance.
