Job Description
Assistant Superintendent – Electrical Construction
We’re seeking a driven Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on large commercial electrical projects ranging from $5M to $50M+. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on field experience who’s ready to step into a leadership track and help drive safety, quality, and schedule in partnership with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in managing day-to-day field operations, including crew coordination, material deliveries, and subcontractor oversight
- Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with plans, specs, NEC, and safety standards
- Support scheduling and sequencing of electrical scopes in alignment with overall construction milestones
- Conduct daily jobsite walks and safety meetings; help enforce company safety protocols
- Track and report field productivity, material usage, and labor hours
- Collaborate with GC and other trades to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow
- Help manage inspections, testing, and punch list completion
- Maintain accurate field documentation (RFIs, redlines, daily reports)
