Job Summary
Seeking a Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's mission critical software products
Candidate will be responsible for defining and communicating a clear product vision, creating and managing product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient product development and delivery in a Cloud environment
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear product vision for our client's software products, aligning with user needs and business objectives
- Create and manage product roadmaps that reflect both innovation and growth strategies
- Partner with a government product owner and lead a product team of 7-8 FTEs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product development and delivery
- Work closely with software development teams to ensure successful product releases in secure Government Cloud environments, primarily AWS
- Monitor and track key product metrics to drive product optimization and growth
- Utilize user research and feedback to refine product features and user experience
- Proficiently manage backlogs, including Epic, Feature, and User Story development and refinement
- Leverage tools such as Confluence and Jira to facilitate efficient product management
- Manage risks and dependencies effectively in a software development context
- Engage in stakeholder management and influence team members and stakeholders through a compelling product vision and data-driven insights
Required Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret / SCI clearanceBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience2-4 years of experience in agile software product delivery, preferably in a management positionExperience in client stakeholder management, preferably in software delivery roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and presentation skillsProficiency in Agile methodologiesFamiliarity with Cloud environments, particularly AWSProficiency in Confluence and JiraExperience with the Microsoft 365 (M365) suiteExpertise in backlog management, including Epic, Feature, User Story development, and refinementAbility to be on-site 60% of the time at a client SCIF located in Washington D.CDesired Qualifications
Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycleFamiliarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldPrevious experience in a similar role within a Cloud-based software environmentFamiliarity and experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Strong track record of successfully managing and delivering valuable software productsExperience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentKnowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insightsDemonstrated ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed product decisionsProficiency in additional project management and collaboration toolsA passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologiesExpertise in risk and dependency management in a software development contextStrong stakeholder management skills and experience influencing team members and stakeholders through a compelling product vision and dataCloud budgeting and forecasting experienceRelevant certificationsExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD / LTD plans.
