job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing inquiries and directing individuals as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity. Monitor and document entry and exit activity, maintaining accurate records as required by site protocols. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, working closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management. Communicate promptly with site management and Allied Universal regarding any security-related concerns or incidents. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Experience providing customer service is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Flex in West Jefferson, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
