Job Summary :
Greets visitors within the reception area and answers incoming calls promptly with a friendly and professional manner. Asks relevant questions to understand the needs of the visitor or caller to ensure requests are managed by the appropriate employees. Performs various tasks to assist with mortgage operations.
Essential Functions :
- Answering phone calls : assessing the needs of the caller, routing to appropriate areas if unable to assist with the request, taking messages, and placing outbound calls as needed
- Monitoring emails and shared in-boxes and responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Order verifications of employment as needed in a timely manner.
- Work with insurance companies to request homeowners’ insurance binders and verify that all pertinent information is contained within the documents received.
- Sorts all incoming mail and distributes accordingly.
- Scheduling appointments with mortgage loan officers and providing confirmation to all parties.
- Assist with various reports that are utilized within the department. This could include creation, monitoring, updating and distribution.
- Evaluate the needs of members and provide the appropriate information, and guidance to ensure the needs of the member are met on a timely basis.
- Escalate any member service issues to management as necessary.
- Monitors supplies within the mortgage reception area and ensures items are replenished as needed.
- Provide members with courteous, friendly service which exceeds their expectations while processing transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Supports mortgage team by assisting with various tasks throughout the mortgage loan process.
- Ensures security and privacy of all members personal information and documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma required. Minimum of one-year experience in customer service or relevant experience.Working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).Encompass system knowledge preferred.Knowledge of mortgage products and processes preferred.A professional demeanor, the willingness to participate as a member of a service oriented, and innovative team while demonstrating an enthusiastic attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, well organized, accurate and detail oriented.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment while having the desire to maintain quality of service.Ability to work with limited supervision, manage time, prioritize and multitask.Self-motivated to research and problem solve.BondablePay Range : $20-$23 / hr plus 3% annual target bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
