Prior neuro experience needed

Description :

Neuro Intensive Care Unit position available.

Candidates should have experience in managing stroke, neurosurgery, and neuro-specific diagnoses.

Complex spine cases are also part of the patient population.

Familiarity with special procedures such as EVDs and therapeutic thermoregulation is necessary.

The unit typically has a patient ratio of 2 : 1.

Care of ventilated patients and central line management are required skills.

Candidates will be involved in blood product administration and managing IV medications.

Experience in emergency medications, ICP monitoring, and the care of patients with traumatic brain injuries is essential.

The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Compliance with infection prevention and isolation precautions is expected.

Candidates must be willing to work at least one holiday during the assignment.

Remote and local candidates need to be aware of residency restrictions.

All submissions must include commitment confirmations and active licenses.
