Maintenance Worker

The New York State Senate is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to fill the position of Maintenance Worker in the Maintenance & Operations department. The Maintenance Worker's responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Delivering and changing water bottles in Senate offices, as needed
• Set-up and break down of events
• Open, clean, and lock conference rooms, as scheduled
• Deliver furniture to District Offices, Senate Offices, and other Senate offices in and outside of Albany
• Pick-up and drop-off items from vendors, as requested
• Help caterers in and out of the building for events
• Other duties as requested by the Director of Senate Maintenance and Operations

Minimum requirements :

This is a full-time position based in Albany, Monday through Friday. The salary range is $40,000-$45,000, commensurate with experience. The NYS Senate offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a health and wellness in the workplace program.
