We are actively interviewing qualified candidates for an experienced Yardi System Administrator (Multifamily) to join our team at our Dayton, OH office.
This position maintains and helps Monarch's Yardi accounting and property management software. This role ensures smooth property operations by maintaining data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, implementing software updates, and optimizing Yardi"s functionality to support all teams and departments.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement accounting and operational processes to capitalize efficiencies.
- Design and implement ad-hoc custom Columnar and YSR reports as needed.
- Create ad-hoc scripts to resolve data anomalies and other reporting errors.
- Design, test, implement Yardi Modules, products, and system updates.
- Provide Tier 3 support to internal Yardi Support team.
- Work closely with the external Yardi account team to ensure system performance and functionality.
- Implement system enhancement requests and new features as needed to ensure desired processes.
- Recommend and help implement best practices in system usage and configuration.
- Configure and troubleshoot 3rd party vendor interface setups and assist with API errors.
- Manage system errors and data anomalies as needed on a daily basis.
- Manage user access, roles, permissions and system security.
- Ensure successful close of the accounting month on the last day of the month.
- Assist with new property onboarding (Y2Y and ETL) and property dispositions.
- Ensure continued system performance in systems such as but not limited to : Yardi, CRM Flex, Rent Cafe, and Yardi's Elevate suite of products.
- Monitor Yardi Support Ticketing queue and respond to client requests for support in a timely manner (focusing on advanced requests and incidents requiring a deeper level of knowledge).
- Stay current on Yardi technology and system changes.

Advanced proficiency in using ERP systems.Advanced experience in MS-SQL and relational database management.Advanced Experience in Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting (YSRs), ETL, and Columnar Reporting.3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in Yardi (Voyager and Modules) or other multifamily software experience.Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrating how to stay organized, precise, and accurate despite a high volume of emails and / or distractions.Perform root cause analysis and problem solve complex issues.3 to 5 years of experience administering information systems.Experience working in accounting, IT or equivalent.Prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment to meet project milestones and deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / spreadsheet applications.Travel Requirements
Must have reliable transportation to and from each scheduled shift.Must travel to our corporate offices in Franktown, CO and Grand Rapids, MI as needed.A credit check is required for this position
